This toxicity feeds into his darker side, as he will do anything, and go through anyone, to fulfill their romance.

Everyone has been talking about MAID for it’s realisic portrayal of emotional abuse and navigating the system. But it’s not your average show about domestic abuse. It’s visceral, but uplifting, and tthe writer definitely understands the complexities of life. The good, the bad, and even the somewhat comical! Watch MAID if you want to feel empathy for anyone who’s stuck in a cycle and can’t get out. You won’t be able to stop thinking about it after you’re done!
